Cybersecurity Ventures’ “Official 2026 Cybersecurity Market Report” projects dramatic growth in the global cybersecurity market. The report forecasts that annual spending on cybersecurity products and services will surpass $520 billion by 2026, up from around $260 billion in 2021.
It also highlights that cybercrime costs are projected to reach $10.5 trillion in 2025 — up sharply from $6 trillion in 2021.
The report emphasises expanding threats — from digitised infrastructure, IoT, industrial control systems to semiconductors and connected consumer devices — which are driving demand for cybersecurity solutions.
Furthermore, it notes that non-CISO cybersecurity spending (i.e., security budgets outside the chief information security officer’s domain) is expected to grow at a ~24% CAGR over the next three years.
